What Is the FundScore? How MF Scanner Ranks Every Fund

The FundScore is our attempt to answer "is this a good fund?" with data instead of ads — an explainable 0–100 rating.

The six factors 1. Returns — 1/3/5/10Y CAGR, absolute and vs category. 2. Consistency — how often it beats its category across rolling periods. 3. Risk-adjusted — Sharpe, Sortino, alpha. 4. Downside protection — max drawdown and how it behaves in falling markets. 5. Cost efficiency — expense ratio and Direct-plan advantage. 6. Portfolio quality — diversification (where holdings data is available).

How to use it Use the FundScore to shortlist, then read the reasoning and check it fits your goal and horizon. It's research, not a buy signal — mutual funds carry market risk and past performance doesn't guarantee the future.
